Dani Gómez joins RCD Espanyol
Spanish forward joins the club on loan
Dani Gómez has signed for RCD Espanyol from Levante UD for the 2022/23 season.
Gómez joins on a season-long loan until 30th June 2023, with the deal including an option to buy. Playing as a centre-forward, Gómez has spent the last two seasons playing for Levante in LaLiga, where he made 62 appearances.
The 24-year-old is an academy product of Real Madrid, having spent nine years in the club’s youth setup before moving to Levante in 2020.
Prior to his move, he spent a season on loan in the second tier with CD Tenerife and was a former Spain Under-21 international.
Gómez becomes Espanyol’s seventh summer signing alongside Joselu, Brian Oliván, Tonny Vilhena, Vinicius Souza, Benjamin Lecomte and Edu Expósito.
Gómez will be presented on Monday afternoon at the Juan Segura Palomares Auditorium at the RCDE Stadium.
