RCD Espanyol representatives make hospital visits
Players and club representatives bring gifts to children in three hospitals
RCD Espanyol made their traditional visit to local hospitals during the winter break, with players bringing gifts to pediatric units at the Clinic Corachan Clinic, Hospital HM Nens and Terrassa Hospital.
Club captains Javi Puado and Lele Cabrera, as well as RCD Espanyol Femenino players Arola Aparicio and Mar Torras, went to the Clinica Corachan. They were also accompanied by the president of the Federació Catalana de Penyes, Ton Roig, and José Manuel Acosta, also from the FCPE, ambassador and former player, Raúl Longhi, director of Communication and Institutional Relations, Xavi Andreu, medical director of RCD Espanyol, Narciso Amigó, plus Josep Lluís Masriera, representative of the RCD Espanyol Foundation, and Esther Ayuso from Voluntaris RCDE.
Sergi Gómez and Pol Lozano, plus Carol Marín and Lice Chamorro, went to the Hospital de Nens, accompanied by the director of the Social Area, Alberto Ariza, Olga Gómez, from the FCPE, ambassador and former player, Toni Blanch, Xavier Gibert, from the RCD Espanyol Foundation, the director of the Ciudad Deportiva, Dani Jarque, Eloy Pérez, representative of Institutional Sports Relations, Joan Capdevila, and Aitor Haro from Voluntaris RCDE.
Finally, the first team doctor, Quique Pérez, and the players Paula and Anita visited the Terrassa Hospital.
The delegation was able to share very emotional moments with the children and their families. In addition to chatting with them during the visit, they gave them various gifts and toys, with the aim of making these children have a more pleasant stay in the hospital.
