"Winning was important to recover good feelings"
Sánchez Flores remarks that the team played well and that he was happy for the victory
Quique Sánchez Flores, coach of RCD Espanyol, spoke in the preview of the importance of the game against Granada. The players received the message to add a win that allows the team to finish comfortably the first round. "It was important to win to recover good feelings. It was a relatively placid victory because there was a tie... In any case, the team played well, connected with the people, had amplitude, there were centers, shots and had control of the match. We are happy for the victory and how it came about", said Quique Sánchez Flores.
Sánchez Flores commented that he wants the team to have "criteria". "We have run like this in different games. We are a growing as a team and we do not have the maturity to do it continuously, but we are patient because the players train in that direction", he said. The coach, too, has said that "we have a marked goal and we want to be inside it. We want the team to rebel, to learn from their mistakes. We want to be a combative team that fights, struggles and consolidates things. This victory can mark the future because it allows us to be with a team block".
On the debut of Marc Navarro has indicated that he "perceives things clear and quickly. He has a good physique, a good head, he understands well, he hits hard". And to conclude, he revealed an anecdote with José Antonio Reyes. "He told me before the game he was going to score", he finished.
