Three new international academies

The continued success of youth football at RCD Espanyol of Barcelona, famous for its historical commitment to young players, has allowed the club to open three new international projects: Three new International Football Academies.

- Mosul, Iraq: This will be the third academy in Iraq, consolidating RCD Espanyol's presence in the region.
- Texas, United States: The second academy in the United States, following on from the one in New Jersey.
- RCDE Academy HLK, Barcelona: Aimed at players of Chinese nationality, this academy reinforces the club's international commitment in its own home city.

International ETS Model
RCD Espanyol's international model is based on sharing knowledge and creating synergies with local companies. The launch of these three new academies for the 2024/25 season coincides with the tenth anniversary of the first project abroad, inaugurated in 2014. During this period, the club have perfected their model, achieving a stable and recurring system that allows the detection of talent wherever it may be.
