Javi López said that it is a very exciting project
After a tough season, Javi López is excited to start the new season. “It is a very professional team of work. We have seen changes in the Training Complex, in the fields, the gym… They are very involved, the manager has a lot of experience and the squad is thrilled to start the season”, he said.
“The excitement that you can see from outside is also in the changing room. This is my tenth season and since I arrived to the Espanyol B I have never seen similar excitement. The club has suffered a lot of changes and this summer we haven’t been forced to sell our players to keep alive”, he said. “Our supporters deserve to enjoy. We have new goals and we must fight for them. Let’s see if we can fight to be in the first ten“.
Javi López, who said that the squad is not closed yet, also pointed out that the project “looks very good. We have a manager with a lot of experience and very professional”.
Finally, Javi López said that “last year we did have pressure. This year we are encouraged because we are talking about other goals”.
