Reyes said that the most important thing is to add as many points as possible
José Antonio Reyes is one of the players that are standing out in the last matches. Reyes is happy for the team’s good moment, but he insists that the most important thing is to think in the next match. “We know that we have to go out and try to win this Friday against Real Sociedad, but we can’t go mad and think in la Real Sociedad or Villarreal. We have to obtain more points and when the season ends, we will see where we have finished, but we don’t have to go mad. We have won three matches in a row, but we have to keep our feet on the ground. We have to go step by step and when the season ends we will see what happens. Our goal is to be calm, add points and see where we finish”.
In a hard moment for the team due to the injuries, Reyes points out the strength of the group. “All the players are important for the team and whoever plays will try to do his best”. Despite the injuries the team is doing a great season. “When they talked to me about the project one always think that it will be difficult to build the team, but we are getting close to our goal”.
Finally, about his situation he said that “I feel very comfortable playing behind the striker. It was where I played in the preseason and every day I feel better. And it is good for me and the team. If I play and I feel happy I would like to carry on. My desire is to continue here, I feel well and if things keep going as they are now I would like to stay”.
