Roca: "We have to aim for the three points against Valencia CF
The RCD Espanyol player aims for victory on Wednesday
Antoniu Roca made his first start in LaLiga against Osasuna this past matchday and, whilst he was pleased to feature in the initial XI, he was left feeling dissatisfied with the points being shared.
“The match was very even and it could have gone our way. A draw was not enough for us. I think we could have got something more. Luckily, we have another chance on Wednesday,” he insisted, ahead of the rescheduled Wednesday night game against Valencia CF.
“I like to win, like all of us. I always want the best for the team and to get the three points, but I also understand that this situation teaches you. I am looking ahead and want us to win and for the situation to improve - and it will.”
On the match against Valencia CF, he commented that “we face it with the intention of going out there to win. It’s a game against a direct rival and we have to aim for the three points. It’s also in front of our fans, who always help us. We have to give it our all.”
Finally, he also expressed gratitude for the confidence that the coach is showing in him.
"I already played under him in the reserve team, and he helps me to continue working in search of more opportunities,” he concluded by saying.
