Preseason training gets underway
The squad return on Monday with medicals and analysis
RCD Espanyol's 2022/23 preseason got underway this Monday, as the squad began a series of medical examinations and fitness tests at the Corachán Clinic and Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque. The coaching staff divided the players into different groups for the analysis, which will take place across Monday and Tuesday.
The first training session for the team will be on Tuesday at 6:30pm, followed up by double sessions from Wednesday to Friday (9:30am/6:30pm) and a single workout on Saturday morning.
Diego Martínez will be without Raúl de Tomás and Pol Lozano initially, with the pair given leave until the middle of the month because of their late start to the summer break, and Vadillo, absent due to a personal matter. In addition to the first team players, the coach will have several youth players training alongside the first team: Joan, Ángel Fortuño, Omar, Rubén Sánchez, Simo, Jofre, Gori and Luca Warrick.
