Confirmed three games in Holland and two in South Africa

The preseason of the first team Espanyol is practically profiled, failing to realize some details that can be closed in the coming days with new commitments to the already concretized.

Members of the blue and white squad are called on Monday July 11^th, day in which medical examinations begin. The team will not leave Barcelona this year during the first days of work and will train at the Ciudad Deportiva Daniel Jarque during the first phase of summer preparation.

The first confirmed matches will take the team to Apeldoorn (Netherlands). The espanyolistas will tour around Netherlands, between 25 and 31 July, which includes three games:

28/07/2016 Almere City - RCD Espanyol (20h)

30/07/2016 Excelsior Rotterdam - RCD Espanyol (18h)

 

Espanyol's second tour will take them to South Africa to compete in the cup 'AMIC CUP 2016' in which, in addition to the white and blue team will participate Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, both from South Africa, and Kano Pillars (Nigeria). The first match will be held on August 12 in Durban (Moses Mabhida Stadium) and the second match will be played on August 14 in Port Elizabeth (Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium). Later this month the draw for the tournament matches and schedules will be held.

On the other hand, Espanyol still working to finalize more friendlies in this preseason schedule to serve as preparation for the start of the league competition, scheduled for August 21^st.
