RCD Espanyol was delighted to welcome a delegation from English Championship side Oxford United to the Stage Front Stadium.

On Wednesday Arfa Thohir, representative of Oxford United's ownership group, who met with the Club’s general subdirector, Toni Alegre, who congratulated him on behalf of RCD Espanyol for their promotion to the Championship after defeating Bolton Wanderers in the League One play-off final.

RCD Espanyol as one of the leading names in LALIGA for its centuries-old history, sporting philosophy, business policy and football tradition. The meeting with Oxford United’s ownership group, who are of Indonesian origin, aligns with one of the markets where RCD Espanyol works to expand its brand and business.

Both parties exchanged opinions and experiences on different matters related to the world of football. In addition, Thohir and his colleagues enjoyed a tour of the Stage Front Stadium, impressed by its modernity and functionality.
