The defender will play with Costa Rica the Copa América Centenario

Óscar Duarte is one of RCD Espanyol’s representatives in the next edition of the Copa América. The defender hopes that Costa Rica performs a good tournament. “The feelings are good and we have done a good job on previous matches”. In an interview to Agencia EFE, Duarte said that “we have maintained a good group to play this Cup. It is a very good group, where everybody tries to contribute with our commitment and improve. We all try to do our best”.

Therefore, the player said that “in Costa Rica they like football a lot and they follow the National Team. Our supporters want us to progress along in as much as possible and we want the same. The country can rise his position and for the players is always good to play this type of tournaments”.

Finally, Duarte said that “I have had a lot of regularity with the National Team and that gives me power to keep working. The most important thing is to help the group. If everything goes well as a team, it will go better individually”.
