Nothing but winning
Darder points out that "we have to give more" and considers that the match against Getafe has to bring "the first victory at home and be a starting point"
With the match against Getafe appearing at the weekend, the blue and white team is convinced of being able to take one more step in terms of effectiveness. This is what Sergi Darder argues, who reiterates that "we trust in ourselves. We know that our start has not been the expected one, but right now the sensations are better than the results".
The Mallorcan midfielder points out that "we are aware that what we are doing does not give us victories and therefore we have to do something else, something more. We already lived a similar streak last year, but then we saw it different for the tranquillity of results we had. Now we know that we have to win this Sunday no other option is acceptable”.
He insists that "I only think about Sunday" and states that "the match against Getafe is vital, not so much for the rest of the season, but to achieve the first victory at home and hope it is a starting point”.
He foresees that the perception "will not change until we win games" and stresses that "we must win no matter what. It's time to add three by three and when you have that pressure is normal to have fear or doubt. We've improved the way we compete, but it's not enough. The important thing right now is to cut the streak of results at home which will be like a sort of turning point. The only way to change that is to win games”.
He repeats that he doesn't think beyond this Sunday's match, "no matter how much we have two in a row at home. It's vital for us and we have to believe in our own strength. There are many ways to win games, but you don't win just by saying we have to win. You have to see on the pitch from the first minute the need we have. Altogether we'll get it out, but not with words, but with facts and these facts must start on Sunday”.
