Morlanes undergoes surgery

Manu Morlanes underwent surgery this past Friday afternoon, to treat a chronic injury to his pubis that has affected him for almost the entire season.

The procedure, carried out by Dr. Ramón Cugat in Barcelona, was chosen by the player in order to enable him to compete at his highest level again.

Morlanes himself states that the injury "has prevented me from helping the team in the way that I would have liked," and that his intention was always to put off surgery as long as possible "to be available to the team." Eventually, the discomfort proved to be too much and he opted for the intervention before the end of the campaign.
