Melamed: "We have our batteries recharged for Napoli game"
The Spaniard previews the upcoming friendly
RCD Espanyol have returned from their preseason training camp in Marbella and trip to England, and are already focused on their next objective. Working at the Ciudad Deportiva this week, the team are looking to a game against Napoli to pick up their form heading into the new campaign.
Speaking on Tuesday, player Nico Melamed said that "We have great motivation. We are leaving the Brighton match behind and arrive with our batteries recharged for the match against Napoli."
"We have been training very hard every day. Marbella went very well for us to connect as a team. The important thing is to improve and learn from our mistakes, so that we can go to Vigo to play Celta on Matchday 1 with a good feeling."
Ahead of the Napoli friendly, he commented that "It will be a very intense match. They are high level opposition. That means greater difficulty but also greater demand. That is what we like."
