RCD Espanyol and the promising right-back have reached an agreement to renew the player's contract

RCD Espanyol of Barcelona and Marc Navarro have reached an agreement this Monday to renew the contract of the Catalan player with the club until the 30 of June of 2021. The right-back will have a clause of 25 million euros

The Badalona player premiered in the top category last January 21 against Granada with a goal and against Sevilla completed his second encounter with a new goal and a goal pass.

Marc Navarro arrived at RCD Espanyol when he was U-17 and played his last year U-19 for Damm. This is Navarro's third campaign in the second team. Very powerful physically, stands out for his great ball hit and his head shot.

The recent trajectory of the defender is marked by a serious knee injury that he suffered in January of 2016 and that prevented him to dispute the second round of the campaign in Second Division B. The 24th of September he reappeared in front Hospitalet with victory by 3-2. "Footballers want to play and when you're off the pitch because of an injury, it's complicated. I suffered a serious injury and I have had to work hard all these months", recalled Marc a few days after his return.

Four months later, he has played two games with the first team and has signed his renewal with RCD Espanyol. His work has been rewarded.
