Key week
Víctor Sánchez hopes to win on Tuesday against Celta and he reminds everyone that the team is not yet saved
The defeat on Friday in Valencia has provoked that the distance with the last places of the table has only been reduced in one point but it has left in the dressing room the feeling that this week can be crucial for the team’s aims.
Víctor Sánchez said that, playing so fast after a defeat, “it is always good” and he said that he wants “to win Celta this Tuesday”. He said that “we have done worst matches than on Friday against Levante and we could draw or win. We lost that match due to little details and that is what you’ll see in the last matches of the league. If we are able to fix it, I think we will add a lot of points”.
The midfielder said that “I don’t think the team is saved with 36 points, so we still have to win a match. With the last results obtained we came to a very comfortable position, but we can’t relax and the team hasn’t done it”. He also said that “we can’t relax. We have five matches to play and they won’t be easy, despite a lot of teams would change their situation for ours. We have to be motivated but don’t get to much pressure. Let’s hope next week we can say that we are saved”.
Víctor said that the current season has been “very irregular” but he said that “we are near to our aim; with a victory and a draw we will have achieved it. It will help us that those teams behind us don’t get many points, but what we want is to finish well the year”.
