Speaking to Espanyol Media, Joselu said, “I am very nervous…I am speechless. The first thing I did was hug my wife and my young son. I am super proud and super happy to have been called up. It is the best thing for any player. This season at Espanyol has helped me achieve a dream, I am really happy ”.
He added, “It is the best feeling, and this belongs to everyone: my teammates, the coaching staff, the fans; they are all part of this. I want to send them a very big hug. I have got here thanks to consistency and hard work”.
