Carreras: "We have two important home games coming up"

The RCD Espanyol player talks about Saturday's fixture

With the Christmas holidays now over, RCD Espanyol have their focus on the return to LaLiga action this coming Saturday, at the RCDE Stadium, against CD Leganés.

Jofre Carreras insists that “we have our minds set on Saturday. We are working hard because we want to compete and play well in front of our fans. We have two important games at home coming up. We know that they are crucial and that we have to win. They will be difficult games, although with the help of our fans it will be easier, and we have to get all the points possible.”

He also insisted that the week off for Christmas “has been good for the team to clear our heads. We really want to compete now.”

Carreras added that, despite the team's current situation, “the season is very long. There are many points still to play for and, obviously, the team could have picked up more so far, but I am convinced that we will get through this."
