"It's a very strong rival"
Victor Sánchez prefers not to discuss the controversial actions of the match against Malaga
Victor Sanchez was one of the protagonists of the tie against Malaga. The '4' white and blue was involved in the action of the penalty given by Juan Martinez Munuera and ended with the home team goal. Despite his frustration because of the referee’s rigurosity, the midfielder doesn’t want to engage in polemics.
"It is a very light touch and I think if it happen again he would not have conceded the penalty, but everyone can make mistakes; no getting around it", he said in an interview with Espanyol TV. Regarding the possible penalty, he said it is "an action on the second post where a defender kicks in the arm, but there's no getting around it".
Regarding the tie against Malaga said that "the draw separates a little us from relegation. They could have won and in the end maybe we could have lost. The point is not bad if we do it good on Saturday".
On the match against Atlético Madrid he has warned that it is "a very strong rival that played well and proposes very intense matches. The schedule is good and I think it is a game to enjoy."
