González to continue as RCD Espanyol coach
The Galician will lead the team on their return to LaLiga
Manolo González and RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement for the coach to continue in charge of the first team for the 2024/25 season, with an optional aditional season.
González will be in charge of the RCD Espanyol squad for their return to the Primera División, achieved after a playoff final win against Real Oviedo.
He took over in March, replacing Luis Miguel Ramis. The coach debuted with a 0-1 victory against Real Zaragoza, and in total has been in the dugout for 16 games thus far, with a record of 6 wins, 9 draws and 1 defeat. During his tenure to date, RCD Espanyol have scored 15 goals and conceded just 7.
