Galca will not continue as manager of the first team

The club has notified the Romanian coach and his assistants, Dumitru Uzunea y Julián Jiménez, that their contractual relationship will end the 30th of June

RCD Espanyol informs that they have notified Constantin Galca, Dumitru Uzunea and Julián Jiménez that they will not open negotiations for the renewal of their contracts with the club that will end, so, the next 30th of June. This decision means that the Rmanian coach and his assistants will not continue at the front of the staff of the first team.

RCD Espanyol thanks their professionalism and the dedication of all of them, that have achieved the goal fixed at the end of the League. In a season certainly complicated at sports level, Galca and his assistants have achieved the aim of maintaining the first team in the maximum category of the Spanish football, showing always a firm commitment with the club.
