Demichelis, new Espanyol player

Argentine defender, who last season played for Manchester City, signs for one season

Martin Demichelis has become the sixth signing for Espanyol for the season 2016-2017 after the agreement reached between the blue and white club and the Argentine player. Demichelis, who arrives free after finishing his contract with Manchester City, is signing for a season.

The Argentine defender has played previously for Manchester City, Malaga, Bayern Munich and the River Plate and has won a number of titles: four tournaments closure in Argentina four Bundesliga titles, four German Cups and one Super Cup in Germany and two Football League Cups and the Premier in England. He has also been capped 50 times by Argentina.

Demichelis will sign his new contract once his pass the medical testt to be held privately. The player will be presented at 13h in the Auditorium of the RCDE Stadium.
