Convinced
Diop thinks that the team is ready to add points in the Nou Camp and he said that “we always go out thinking we can do it”
Pape Diop knows that this Sunday, in Camp Nou, Espanyol will have another opportunity to close their mathematic salvation that, at the moments and with two matches to go, it can be achieved virtually. That doesn’t prevent the Senegalese midfielder to remind everybody that "it is not yet achieved" and he insists that "we will approach the game with the same intensity as last Sunday with Seville."
The white and blue player also said, regarding the possibility of adding points, "we always go out thinking we can do it. We did it in the match of the first round. It's a derby and there is always an extra motivation for both teams. We are confident and eager to make the best game."
Diop said that he doesn’t mind to face "a hostile environment" and said that "what I want is to talk about football. We are playing a game, we are not going to the war and we hope that after the game we only talk about football".
He assures that, after the victory against Sevilla, "it shows that things are calmer" but he insists on the idea of adding points in the Camp Nou and for this "we must make the game as uncomfortable as possible for the rival."
