Roberto expects the team to be solid and will offer good sensations in the first match of the year
Roberto Jiménez was one of the protagonists of the final stretch of 2016. The goalkeeper played part of the derby because of the injury of Diego López and the match of the Spanish Cup against Alcorcón. Subject to the course of Diego López's injury, Roberto could return to the lineup this Friday against Deportivo de la Coruña (RCDE Stadium, 20.45h) if his teammate does not recover in time.
"The knock out in the Cup was tough for us because we hoped to be able to move on and move on to reaffirm the good dynamics that the team had taken in the last months of competition. We did not want to say goodbye with a Cup elimination. In any case, I hope the team returns with good feelings and shows itself as a solid and difficult team. As far as he is concerned, Roberto made it clear that there is no way out and he does not regret his signing for Espanyol. "I make the decisions with all the consequences.
