Agreement with cryotherapy company CTN

OXYPRO hyperbaric treatment to be provided for the club's players

RCD Espanyol and Finnish company CTN, one of the world leaders in cryotherapy treatment, have reached an agreement for the use of OXYPRO hyperbaric treatments.

OxyPro™ Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a holistic treatment that can improve metabolism at a cellular level and the ability of cells to purify and regenerate. The goal is to increase the level of oxygen in the blood to repair tissues and restore normal body function.

The CTN 'recovery triangle' is formed by hyperbaric chamber treatment, electrical whole body cryotherapy and photobiomodulation.

CTN have provided a hyperbaric chamber for the club's medical services, with the aim of facilitating and accelerating players' recovery and improving performance.

Cryotherapy, also known as cold therapy, is the application of cold to the body for therapeutic purposes. It used to relieve muscle pain, sprains and inflammation after soft tissue damage or surgery, as well as improving sports performance.
