David López said that it is a special game and that he likes to play matches against FC Barcelona
David Lopez will return to play a derby after two seasons in Naples. The white and blue player, one of the team's icon said that it is "a good time" to face FC Barcelona and adds that the game against Barça is special.
"It's a good time because the team has realised that it is capable of doing great things. We have confidence and morale is high, but we have our feet on the ground and we have to be humble and keep working", he said. David Lopez adds that "it is a derby. Whoever says that it is not special is because he has never played one or does not know what it is. It's a special game and everyone has to give something more. I do not want to talk about aggression; we will try to win as we have done in every game".
Regarding how to afford the game against FC Barcelona has indicated that "we can not defend the whole game because they will end up scoring. FC Barcelona forces you to take steps back and we must try to keep them away from our box and take advantage of our opportunities to try to win". In this sense has pointed out that "the higher we can steal the ball, the better for us because we will be closer to the goal, but without too many risks. If you take too many steps forward then you suffer. You have to be a block and find the point where we do not suffer". David has insisted that the attackers of FC Barcelona have a lot of mobility and, therefore, he asks his teammates to "make sure there are no spaces. We have to try to be together, and keep them away so they do not create opportunities. The most important thing is to be a block. If we are together, they can not filter passes and give you time to help the partner not to do one on one".
