RCD Espanyol Femení continue their promotion charge with an impressive victory at DUX Logroño Femenino

RCD Espanyol Femení earned a solid 3-1 win on the road away to DUX Logroño Femenino on Sunday.

The hosts started out on top with a series of threatening corner kicks in the opening five minuts. But that woke Espanyol up as they started to get into the final third, opening the scoring after 12 minutes thanks to Judit Pablos’ finish.

They extended their lead through a familiar face for Logroño, their former player Ana Hernández, who popped up with the second goal of the day.  

In the second half, the Mágico played with the comfort that the result gave them, able to play their football and control the game as they wished. Logroño had to go for it were they to take anything from the encounter, and that allowed the visitors to take advantage to score with a lovely goal from María Lara to wrap it up in La Rioja.
