“With the help of my teammates everything is easier”
Marc Roca said that he is trying to take of advantage of the opportunities
Marc Roca is one of the surprises this season. The midfielder, who has received a lot of complements, however, is not losing his head. “I am very happy with the opportunities I am having and with the help of my teammates everything is easier. I work hard every day and I try to learn from my teammates and the manager. As any other player I want to learn and working this way I can achieve it. I didn’t expect to have so many minutes, but you have to get the opportunities with personality and confidence”, he said.
Roca said that during the preseason he didn’t expect to be one of the players with more minutes. “For me it was a dream to make my debut in First Division. If they had told me this in Holland, I wouldn’t had believed it, but thanks to the confidence of the mister and my teammates it is very easy”. The Catalan, however, knows that this is only the beginning. “I continue with my family and with my friends that make me keep my feet on the floor. I know who I am. You achieve everything with work and humility. I know that I am an Espanyol B but every player wants to arrive to the first team to stay. I have arrived, I want to stay and I will try”.
About last match against Villarreal Espanyol did “a good match. I think it's a positive point and leave the clean sheet. I do not think we had fear, but we could not lose in the final minutes after having played well for 80 minutes", he said.
