Víctor Sánchez said that the team can’t relax and has to carry on
Víctor Sánchez missed the last game against Granada because he was sent off against Rayo Vallecano. The midfielder will probably play this Sunday against Athletic Club, one of his favourite rivals. “We have been lucky against them and I have scored them a few goals in past years. It is a team with basically the same players for a with basically the same for a numb years now they have a good manager, Aduriz is fit. I think it is going to be a great match and difficult to win it”, he said.
“We are better than a few weeks ago but if we don’t win the next games we can’t get back to the last places. We can’t deactivate this alarm until we ACHIEVE 40 or 42 points”.
The player said that “we had won only a match in eight games and now we have won three in the last five. We have to pick up the three points this Sunday. If we played with the same intensity as them, we can win the match”.
