“We must do our best”
Álvaro hopes to finish well a season that has had “bad and good streaks”
Álvaro González, as the rest of his teammates, wants to end the season with a victory this Sunday against Eibar. The back defender said that “it is important to finish well the year after going through difficult days. We are obliged and we have to be proud of ourselves. It has been an irregular year, with bad periods individually and as a team and for that reason we have to think in winning. We have to do our best to enter in a new project that seems very interesting”.
About his future, he said “the club and myself are happy and I hope I can continue a lot of years. If the two parties are happy I hope I can still be part of this project for many years”.
In the same way, after a difficult season, he said that “the aim was to keep the team in the First Division. We have to live with that and that everybody is in the same ship. It has been a year with more bad streaks than good ones. We have had to assume responsibilities and forces to carry on”.
About Eibar he said that “it is a team that has shown that he wanted to continue in the First Division. They have done a great season with a squad that has pointed out as a very strong group”.
