“We must be patient”
David López said that the new project needs time
David López is back. After two years, the midfielder could play again with Espanyol. The new player said that everybody has to be patient and optimistic and thinks that the team is ready to have a good season.
“We must be patient and optimistic because the project is very nice. The players that we have signed have a lot of quality and we have to wait and see how everything develops and concentrate ourselves in the next match against Real Sociedad”, he said.
“We have to be patient because the first fixtures are not easy. We have to be optimistic and think that there are still many things to improve. With the players we have and the project that we are building we only have to think in good things”, he said.
“This break has been good for us, but for us it is a problem to play on Friday because we have four players out. They should have thought in the team that we play so early”, he said.
“There have been a lot of changes in the club. My team mates have received me very well and I am willing to play and help in everything I can”, he said.
