Quique Sánchez Flores said that the team is progressing
In a very long press conference, Quique Sánchez Flores said that he is happy with the work of the team and added that he is sure that the players are progressing. “We have played against a lot of teams of the top of the table and we always have kept our chance. We don’t think in anything else that how to win the next match. We have cleared what are the important and transcendental things”, he said.
Quique Sánchez Flores said “the matches against Málaga and Celta made us change things. We want back to the roots of the preseason and tell the players that they can do better. Therefore the team competes despite the results. We have to be positive”.
About Eibar he said “it is a team that plays very direct, that pressures a lot and that tries to get advance with few passes. It is a team in which the attention has to be high. We have to play calm especially when we have the ball in our feet”.
“All the matches during the season are important. However, there are a few that are key and that are going to tell us a lot about the team. We want to put Espanyol in a scenario of positivism”.
