“We deserve to finish well the league”
Felipe Caicedo is ready to play against Barcleona. After weeks injured, the striker is recovered as he showed against Sevilla last week when he scored the victory goal. Caicedo said that Espanyol, that still needs to add more points, wants to finish the league as best as possible.
“The dressing room deserves to finish well the league because it has been a very strange league. It is a perfect opportunity to give a present to the supporters. It is an important match for us and I believe in myself and in my team-mates”, he said. The striker said that “the team is thinking in closing salvation. We are thinking in us, in our families and in the supporters; we want to win for them”.
Caicedo said that “Barcelona is not in their best moment, but in this last matches there are scoring a lot of goals. We will have to do our football to try to win”. The forward said that “it will be very nice to score as a striker as I am”.
The player from Ecuador said that “it is a football match in we have the option to do something nice because we know what it means for the club”.
