Rubén Duarte said that the squad is very excited with this project
Rubén Duarte is living his second season with Espanyol’s first team. The player from Almeria said that the team is working well and that the squad is looking forward to play against Juventus and Sevilla.
“There have been very intense days. We have played against important teams and we have done well: we fought and worked hard in the two games. We are very excited and we want to keep working. We are looking forward to play this Saturday against Juventus and we want to start to compete”, he said.
“I see a lot of expectation in this project and a lot of ambition in the players and the supporters. We want to fight and work hard”, he said. Duarte said that “the rivalry between the players is good for the team. There are many players in my position and we are all trying to do our best. Every manager asks you for different things. He wants us to be intense, concentrated...”.
Finally Duarte said that “we have played many matches. Maybe we haven’t worked on certain tactical aspects, but this week we will have time to work. We will work day by day to keep improving”.
