“Our goal is to get maximum points”
Álvaro Aguado is taking it game by game ahead of the visit of Real Sporting de Gijón
Álvaro Aguado has assured that the ultimate goal is to win all five remaining games, but the immediate focus is getting the win against Real Sporting de Gijón on Sunday.
Aguado said, “These last five games are all finals, but I convinced that we are going to achieve the goal. There are few games and few points left, but our goal is to get the win game by game and get the maximum possible points possible to achieve automatic promotion. It is a very competitive league where everyone is fighting to achieve their goal”.
RCD Espanyol host Sporting with the clear goal of winning at the Stage Front Stadium, in another game against a promotion rival which will be critical. Three home league games remain, and although the Mágico have only lost once at the Temple, it is vital to get maximum points at every given opportunity.
Aguado continued, “The objective is still automatic promotion, it has been that since day one and we are going to fight until the end. We are aiming to get 15 points from 15, but first we are focused on Sporting. We have to go for that game from the first minute and then go for the next one”.
