“Málaga has very good players”
Quique Sánchez Flores said that Espanyol will have to do a good match to try to win Málaga
Espanyol has won the last two matches against Granada and Sevilla and now they will try to keep with the good spell of results this Saturday against Málaga. The manager Quique Sánchez Flores warns that it will be very difficult to obtain the three points.
“It is a very complicated team. They have very good players and they are not going to leave us play comfortably. We have to defend well and do a good match. It is a very uncomfortable match but we have to play as we used to. We want to be a team that doesn’t make differences depending were we play. We have to compete. Romero has coached different matches and we know what he does”, he said.
“He has trained well with the group with his teammates. He is physically fit and he is with the rest of the group. We are happy because we have recovered him and now he has to give everything. Football involves a lot of changes and it is unpredictable to know what is going to happen”, he said about Caicedo’s situation.
Quique also said that he feels privileged for being the manager of a club like Espanyol. “I am happy to give the opportunity to these young players but now we have to leave them do their work. They need to be calm and it is important that we don’t put them in the spotlight”, he said.
