“It is the most important match of the year”
Víctor Sánchez is confident to win against Sevilla and to save the team as soon as possible
The white and blue team is conscious about the importance of the game of this Sunday. Víctor Sánchez said that “it is the most important match of the year” and that the victory can be definitive to achieve the salvation.
The Catalan midfielder said that they feel “angry for what happened and a bit frustrated because we could be tranquility. If we have arrived here is because we have deserved it. We have three matches left and we have advantage over the other teams. We are going to try to win this Sunday to be saved. And if we have to wait, we hope not, we will try in the next match”.
Víctor, who said that the four captains had a meeting before the practice to talk about the team’s situation, said that “it is not a quality problem. Things don’t turn out and mentally we are a bit blocked and we have to improve this. When we do things well, we are a good team. We have talked about facing this situation with all our illusion. We have to recover confidence”.
The White and blue player said that “the year hasn’t been easy for us. It has been a hard year, difficult for me, but we can’t look behind and start thinking what we did wrong o did badly. People have noticed that has to be with us and, after, when the team is saved, they can say what they want. For everybody the most important thing is to save the team as soon as possible”.
