“It is a team with winning mentality”
Espanyol is facing Atlético de Madrid, one of the best teams in the League. The white and blue team hopes to obtain a good result despite the manager Constantin Galca says that Atlético de Madrid has a winning mentality.
“I expect an Atleti very competitive and aggressive. It is irrelevant who plays because is a team with a lot of quality. We know that in front we have a team that fights for the League, the Champions League and that has a winning mentality. Therefore I think they will assume more risks and will leave more spaces”, he said.
Galca said that Espanyol has to be “aggressive, intense and try to do our best to hurt Atlético de Madrid. If we only think in defence, it will be difficult to get ahead with the match”. The manager has said that “hopefully with the supporters help we will be able to win. We will try to do our best”.
Galca, who has explained that he talk about the teams situation with Mr. Chen Yanseng. has said that Atleti is “competitive and a team that takes a lot of profit of the strategy. I am sure that some of the players that played against Barcelona will be tomorrow in the lineup”.
To finish the manager said that “I don’t think we can say that we are saved for winning this match. We have to add the points and see what the other teams do”.
