Luis Miguel Ramis knows it is a missed opportunity in the 1-1 draw with AD Alcorcón

Luis Miguel Ramis is disappointed with the opportunity missed to go top of the league, as his team drew 1-1 with AD Alcorcón on Sunday.

RCD Espanyol were held to a stalemate at the Estadio Municipal de Santo Domingo which meant they could not break back into the top two, and instead remain third in LALIGA Hypermotion going into the final stretch of the season.

Ramis said, “We did better in the first half than the second. We knew it would be a very competitive game and I think we had chances to win. We leave with a point that does not satisfy us, but that is how things turned out. Their goal made them grow and it caused us problems.

“The team lacked finesse and accuracy in finishing. The point is not valuable enough for us, but it allows us to stay where we are”.
