“If we win, we will closer to our goal”
Rubén Duarte said that he has to work and improve as a player
Espanyol faces a very important match this Sunday against Málaga. Rubén Duarte, after playing with the National Team U-21, has trained with his teammates and spoken to the media after the practice. “It is clear that in case of winning against Málaga it will be a big step for our goal. I don’t think it will be definitive because a lot of things can happen until the end of the season but it will be a great step”, he said.
Rubén Duarte said that “it is very important not to receive any goal. If the eleven players fight and we defend well it be easier to win the match because we have strikers that are very good and I am sure that they will take advantage of the situations. We are working to win in Málaga”. The defender also said that the atmosphere in the team is “excellent. All the players want to win this Sunday and we are working with all our thrill”.
About his personal situation Duarte said that “is not easy to be in and out. However, I am a young player, I have a lot of things to learn yet. During the season you have your up and downs but I have always worked to try to have opportunities”.
