“Deportivo will demand a lot from us”
Quique Sánchez Flores said that the team is always motivated to play
After two weeks without playing Espanyol is back on track. The white and blue team plays against Deportivo de la Coruña with the aim of going back to the good spell of results. “I think that victories are necessary and we try that things are always positive. All matches are important for us and they motivate us. We know it is going to be a complicated match against a team that is going to demand a lot from us”.
The manager said that the team has learnt from the mistake against Alcorcón and added that “we want to keep growing and in the same line. We are searching to be a complete team. The players are training very well and all of them have decided that they want to improve”.
Sánchez Flores has insisted that “we want to carry on growing, learning the philosophy of the club and connecting with the supporters. We want more and we are still far from where we want to get. We are on the way to be a competitive team and that the players know each other better”.
About Deportivo he said that “if you let them have the ball they feel comfortable and they make you run. In front they have players that are able to keep the ball and we will try to be the consistent and compact team we have been in past matches”.
