Youth team play friendly against Qatar

RCD Espanyol's Juvenil A (under-19s) played a special match against the under-23 national team

RCD Espanyol's under-19 team - Juvenil A - hosted the Qatar under-23 national team at the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque on Tuesday.

Xavi Corominas' boys welcomed the Qatari delegation to the training ground for a friendly match, featuring some players from the age band below, Juvenil B. 

Espanyol earned a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Álvaro Millán from the spot and David Pecellín's header in the second half. There was a special shirt exchange at half-time between the two teams, along with a commemorative shield presented by the Qatar Football Association.
