"We will have to play an almost perfect match"
Jurado highlights the offensive potential of R. Madrid and appeals to the collective work to try to achieve a positive result
RCD Espanyol visits Santiago Bernabéu Saturday to play against R. Madrid, current leader of the competition. José Manuel Jurado, one of the players who is playing more minutes this season, says that the blue and white team must play almost a perfect match.
"The Santiago Bernabéu is a very difficult field; Madrid is Madrid. It's going to cost us a lot, because we're going to play against a great team and we'll have to do our best to compete in that field. We will have to perform almost perfectly. R. Madrid has great players and although they don’t play well, they can score at any moment. We will have to be very focused until the end and extremely concentrated. You have to defend very well and not leave spaces for them not to feel comfortable and can not do what they like", he said. Jurado stated that it is a match "to enjoy. We are going to the Bernabeu with the desire to enjoy and make a good match".
Despite the loss to Real Sociedad, Jurado said that the team continues "equally well and motivated. We are in the calm area, because we have earned it. It is a squad in process because we have many new players. We are getting the idea to be a compact team that in the long run is competitive, but that takes time".
