Diego López is ambitious and says that "I am at my best and I hope to prove it"
Diego López has no doubt about the ability that Espanyol 2018-2019 can show. The white and blue goalkeeper assures that the dressing room is "happy and excited" with the new sports project that is being built and stresses that "a lot of ambition is being generated to make a very beautiful season. Today all are positive notes and everyone is very encouraged".
He is clear that Rubi is "demanding a lot at all levels" but stresses that we will be "a very organized block. We will be a very harmonious and very stable team and that will make us grow and be better".
He insists that the costumes are working with great intensity and that "you can feel joy in each workout" and adds that there are still three weeks to improve before the start of the league and that "a fantastic work environment is breathed".
He assumes as "great news for all" the continuity of David López and stresses that he will have to fight from the first day to try to be a starter. "I am at my best and I hope to show it in training and matches. My intention is to continue here and I want to be the protagonist always to return all the confidence that the club and the people have given me. I want to prove that I am an important player".
On what awaits the championship maintains a line of prudence and ambition and notes that "we will fight every game to try to compete face to face. We are optimistic and we respect everyone, but we will give everything so that the club is where it deserves".
