David López hopes that Espanyol performs a good match and that they are able to defeat FC Barcelona
Espanyol is getting ready for the derby against FC Barcelona. The blue and white team, as David López said, hopes to perform a good match against one of the worst rivals we can face in the League. “Clearly this is an important match. It's special for the players that have been trained in the Academy. We know what it means for us and the supporters. We want to continue competing, improving and we hope to do our best”, he said.
“We don’t care much about them; we try to think of ourselves, in the victory. It is an important match and we will try to show it on the field. I could not tell you in words. It's a special match. You live it differently from the preparation to the end. It's a different game, you give more than you have, to win it is special and hopefully it can be like this to finish the year well.
“All of them are great players but the three strikers are the best. We will try to play our game, look at us when we have done what we have to do we can be difficult and a competitive team. Hopefully will show our best version. We feel comfortable having more spaces, having metres to run, we have forwards for it. When we go out and are able to find spaces we are doing well”, he said.
