"We have to carry on as it is"
Diego López said that the squad is enjoying and adds that the team must improve when playing away
Diego López is completing a very good start this season. The Galician goalkeeper has been key with his saves and has actively collaborated in the good results of the team: "We are happy with the evolution of the team, very happy and optimistic, knowing the difficulty of prolonging this streak".
In this sense he said that "every member in the team are enjoying every game as well as the practice. You can see that, it shows, you can feel the sensations that we have individually and as a team too. Luckily, it is a matter of results. We hope to keep adding and keeping as high as possible". The Galician keeper has insisted that "we must continue in this line, fight every game for the three points beyond the opponent, the stadium... we had chances to win in all matches and that is our idea and philosophy".
A very positive aspect is the defensive strength shown by the team, especially at the RCDE Stadium. "At home we find ourselves with the strength that the people give us, our stadium... and the fortune that nowadays it is not easy to fit goals. The important thing is to keep the streak at home, playing well and keeping our game idea. It has always worked very well defensively, you have to be fair. Where else we have made the jump, it has been at an offensive level”.
Diego López, likewise, is convinced that the team will improve their results away from home. "It's something that we have to improve, we have the opportunity now with two games in Huesca and Valladolid. We face them with the intention of taking out the six points and confirming the good work at home. We have lacked a bit of everything. We must look forward, correct details and moments of weakness we have had at home".
Finally, he has also had words of praise for his partner Borja Iglesias. "I see him very well, he's a great player, he's going to show it and things will come out. The efficiency goes through different spells and also has a little anxiety for wanting to please and make goals.
