"We have taken another step in the game"
Gallego emphasizes that the team improved after the break
David Gallego, coach of RCD Espanyol, made a positive assessment of his team's match against UD Las Palmas and pointed out that only the lack of success prevented a better result. "The team has lacked success in the area. In the first part we were fine, but we had doubts. We have to understand that when you are looking for an associative game the advantages are in the spaces and we have lacked breaks. In the second part the team has been released and has submitted in his field to Las Palmas and that says a lot about my team. We have to thin that the attack needs a lot of time to work. The team believes and goes and I am happier with the game than last week; we have taken another step", he has said.
Gallego said that "in the second part we understood the game perfectly. I am very happy and excited about the team. With four talks and two training we play like that, it's to be satisfied".
On his feelings at the RCDE Stadium, Gallego has assured that he has not felt "nervous". "I'm in my sauce because I feel passion. In soccer you have two options: enjoy it or suffer it and I enjoy it", he concluded.
