"We have played a very complete game"
Rubi praises the offensive production of the team, but regrets the local draw
Joan Francesc Ferrer, Rubi, was happy with his players' game, although he was disgusted by the final result. "We have played a very complete game. The worst thing is having suffered so much in defence and we have lacked a bit more pause. The final idea was to finish with one more striker - Hernán Pérez - and we had a few chances. Levante is a team with a lot of heart, they have pushed and has not come down at any time. We have been serious, we have advanced twice on the scoreboard and we had the 0-2. I think people have enjoyed it".
The blue and white coach, who has praised Puado's match, commented that it is "very positive" that Espanyol went ahead twice on the scoreboard. "The approach has been good, but it's hard for us to be regular during the 90 minutes. Outside the house, a lot has happened to us: it's hard for us to win. We have sent a ball to the post and we have had opportunities, but we have lacked pause".
The manager, finally, regretted that "I get the feeling that two points have been lost. We have gone ahead twice and generated, but they too. His goals are avoidable".
