"Wanting to compete"
Óscar Duarte is ready to play after a whole month training with the group
Óscar Duarte is very happy because he is, practically, at the same level as his team mates. It lacks the last step: to compete. He has been training for a month with the group "and now all that is missing is that the coach can count on me".
He reminds that, in these six months, the first days "I found it quite difficult. When you are told that you are going to spend so much time outside it is complicated, but thank you to the colleagues, managers and doctors, my family and many people who were supporting me, that is what made me stand up for work every day better"
He insists that after an initial recovery phase at the clinic, and the two weeks he spent in Nicaragua and Costa Rica "in which the medical manager of my recovery let me rest on my birthday", he has begun collect the fruits of your effort. "I've worked hard and now I'm available to the coach."
He said that he is "very eager to compete" and for that he works to the maximum in training. He says he sees his teammates with a good level and hopes that "we keep the line we have reached. In my head is just keep working, keep working hard in training, fight to get into the starting line and try to enjoy".
He points out that "there is a lot of competition in all positions and that makes all of us to be a better team. All the lines have been reinforced and we have been able to see what we have already competed for. We have maintained the base of last year and have incorporated players who are giving us a plus. We have to strengthen what we are doing".
