Vicente Moreno, the new head coach of RCD Espanyol
The new head coach signs an agreement with the Blue and Whites for the next three seasons
RCD Espanyol of Barcelona has a new coach. Vicente Moreno Peris (Massanassa, 26/10/1974) is the chosen one to lead the Blue and Whites' first division team for the next three seasons. The club and the head coach have reached an agreement that binds him until June 30, 2023.
Vicente Moreno, a coach with experience in the category, began his professional career on the sidelines of the Xerez CD. Subsequently, he signed with the Gimnàstic de Tarragona, where he spent four seasons, obtaining its promotion to Second Division. These last three terms he has been the head coach of RCD Mallorca, with whom he went from Second B to First Division.
As a player, he stood out with the Xerez CD, a club in which he completed most of his career as a football player for 11 seasons, achieving promotion to the highest category and becoming one of the team captains.
The new Blue and Whites' head coach will be presented this Wednesday at 2:00 pm, in the Juan Segura Palomares Auditorium of the RCDE Stadium, at a press conference in telematic format.
